Dr Simon and Yael Cohen approached the Foundation with the idea of holding a classical music concert in memory of Yoni. On 7 December 2003 over 500 people gathered at the Wigmore Hall to hear the internationally renowned Aviv Quartet and the up and coming Israeli Pianist Iddo Bar-Shai.

The sell-out concert was a tremendous success. There was a very special atmosphere as the musicians played a combination of Haydn, Schubert, Borodin, Chopin and Mozart.

The Yoni Jesner Memorial Concert raised money for the Yoni Jesner Scholarships. To read more about the evening please click here.
