Sam is the director of the Yoni Jesner Foundation. She is also a freelance project manager; clients include Reshet, Nisa-Nashim, the Jewish Muslim Women’s Network and Alma Primary School.

Previously, Sam was the project manager (maternity cover) for Nisa-Nashim, the Jewish Muslim Women’s Network and Women in Jewish Leadership – an initiative of the Board of Deputes, seeking to advance gender equality in the Jewish community. Prior to this role, she worked for Lead, the leadership development division of the Jewish Leadership Council for 6 years. She held the post of Lead Manager with responsibility for operations and programming and lead on several new initiatives. Sam also led on the Adam Science Programme (a prestigious leadership programme for young Jewish professionals) for 4 years, as well as being involved in all areas of Lead’s work. Sam has worked for UJIA and Jewish Care in community and leadership development roles.

Sam has an MA in Applied Anthropology and Community and Youth Work from Goldsmiths College and a BA in Jewish Civilisation from Leeds University. She is an active member of Finchley Reform Synagogue. Sam is married and has two beautiful sons, Coby and Jesse.
